Time table

10/6: Schedule released.
10/20: At least ONE game should be complete.
11/3: At least TWO games should be complete.
11/3: TRADE DEADLINE; no players may change rosters after this date. New players may be added to a roster still.
11/10: At least THREE games should be complete.
11/17: REGULAR SEASON ENDS. ALL GAMES SHOULD BE COMPLETE.
11/27: First playoff round complete.
12/8: Second playoff round complete.

Who wins

For the playoffs, the top 4 teams will be taken from each division, and they will be seeded based on our normal tie-breaking criteria. I realize that this does not necessarily product correct seedings without cross-divisional play, but it's all we have, and it shouldn't make much of a difference.

The teams were divided randomly, using a perl script I wrote specifically for this task. The perl script, and a transcript of my session, are available upon request. If you are not satisfied with a transcript of my session as verification, I suggest you seek professional help. There was one constraint; EuroTwinks and Rookies II had to be in separate divisions, because they are both captained by Heiko (who plays only for ET). The first run of the scheduling program had them both in the same division, so I re-ran it once.
